Murley Silver is the current North of Ireland Champion Brass Band having won the NIBA brass band championships in 2007 and 2008. The band from Fivemiletown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, has around 30 subscription amateurs, who all share the same passion - making music. The band is conducted by William Hill.

The senior band is available for a wide variety of events including concerts, corporate events, carnivals, weddings and any special occasions both indoors and out. Like most modern brass bands, Murley is extremely versatile - a far cry from the stereotypical image of just hymns and marches! Our repertoire encompasses a huge variety of music from musicals to modern, from fanfares to film scores and from JS Bach to The Beatles.

Whatever your event, we can create a programme of music to suit your needs!

Murley also has a Concert Band that provides playing opportunities for younger players and those unable to commit to the senior band's busy schedule. And for those wishing to learn a brass instrument, there is a learners' class on Saturday mornings.
